THURSDAY NIGHT in New York
Wow! What a trip to New York! It was so awesome. We got into New York Thursday night and took a taxi to our hotel, the Quality Suites Time Square. We checked in and then headed out to check the big apple! We walked around Time Square. So amazing…the electricity they use! Bright lights and high definition screens all over! Rob and I are both BIG FANS of Fox News. In fact we stayed on the same block as their building. So we went over there. We looked in a group of windows and saw a control room with a bunch of TV screens and people working. Then we went to the next set of windows and low and behold if it wasn’t HANNITY AND COLMES doing their show!! So cool! We love that show!! It only had about 10 minutes left so we watched and from outside. After the show was over we were joking around that it would be cool if we saw Sean Hannity come out and get in his car!

A few minutes later I looked in there and there he was on his way out!!!! Thinking he didn’t want to be bothered and we just said hi to him and Rob told him that he had been “Hannitized”, (which just means we like him and we think a lot like he does). He stopped and asked where we were from and shook our hands. A SUPER nice guy!! He asked if we were enjoying the big city and we said yes. We told him it was great to meet him and we’d love to see him again in Atlanta (he’s from there). He told us to have a great trip and that he’d be back in Atlanta soon. He had a driver with him. They got in a Lincoln and took off. WHAT A NICE GUY!! So personable and down to earth!! After that we were in complete shock. Star stuck, I guess you’d say! We walked around a bit more and then we went and ate at La Prima Donna, which was a nice, but reasonable Italian Restaurant right next to our hotel. Then, we went back to the hotel since it was about midnight now, planned for the next day, and slept.

FRIDAY in New York
We got up and went down to the Fox News Building where they were doing Fox and Friends 1st Edition. We looked in the window and watched. Then the Fox and Friends crew came in (Brian Kilmeade, E.D. Hill, Steve Doocy). We stayed during the entire 2 hour show and we met “Brian Kilmeade, Steve Doocy. It was really awesome. We were on TV during part of the show.During the show we looked over and saw ” Orlando Salinas, who works for FOX news also. He was there with his family and we got a picture with him and his family. After the show was over we were walking back to our hotel to figure out the rest of the day and we saw Lauren Green leaving. She had flip flops on with a skirt and sunglasses. We didn’t bother her. So the rest of the day consisted of site-seeing and picture taking by Subway.

Here’s where we went:
Macy’s
Empire State Building
Central Park
Grand Central Station

Friday evening we went to the Ford Theatre where we saw 42nd Street, which was awesome!!! We ate paninis at a resturant right near the theatre.

SATURDAY in New York
We took a subway to Ground Zero. Then, we went to Pier 83 and took a Circle Line Cruise. We saw Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, several bridges, and great views of Manhattan.Saturday afternoon, we went to the Palace Theatre where we saw Aida, which was awesome!!! After that we headed over to the Apple Store in Soho. Saturday evening we went to the Radio City Music Hall. He played with his band, a full orchestra, and a choir. It was great! After that we ate a Chinese place, which was good.

SUNDAY in New York
We went on a bus tour of New York where we saw famous buildings that have been in movies and TV shows. We also went shopping. Then it was time to take a Taxi back La Guardia. It was a GREAT trip and we look forward to going back soon!! This is a really cool site that shows Movie Locations In NY! This shows where TV shows are taped, like David Letterman and The View!
